As late as the 90s, medillin was considered no-go zone as it was largely dominated by drug cartels. However, a crackdown on the cartels and efforts at refurbishing the city has now made it a top tourist destination. Medllin is the perfect city to visit if you want to interact with the locals and soak in the rich Latin culture. You will be spoilt for choice from the many salsa and tango clubs all over the city but if you want some of the best clubs, and then head over to Parque Llera district.

Mancora is one of the small towns in Peru but it has been made popular due to surfing. The waves are boisterous, there are no coral reefs and sharks are too far away from the beach making it a heaven for any surfing enthusiast. Mancora has a very active night life and parties are hosted almost every night at some corner of the town. If you are looking for a quite night, this is the last town you want to be! Be ready for loud music and lots of noise all night.
